"Bringing programs like Apex to our school is a great way to help with chronic absenteeism because it gets kids excited about coming to school."

This was the first year our school has done Apex and our kids loved it. We held our fundraiser two weeks before state testing because we wanted our students to use the leadership skills learned through the daily POWER lessons on their test. We had a rally right before the Fun Run and the Apex lead spoke at it and got the kids pumped up for both testing and the run.
